Concours d’Elegance

Set in a private country estate, this year’s Concours d’Elegance hosted a total of 54 cars. Exhibited over two days on the Kim Wilkie-designed grass terraces to the rear of the Grade I listed Palladian mansion, the event included cars from the very dawn of motoring up to the modern day and Lettice had the pleasure of catering the event.


The 200 guests were greeted on the terrace with glasses of Gusbourne sparkling wine and cocktails. They watched as spitfire planes flew over the cars and acrobats from Italy abseiled down the façade of the house. The ultimate summer party had to have an exceptional menu to match and the guests were treated to a European feast.



Using fresh ingredients with many sourced from the local area, Lettice created two beautiful Spanish-inspired food stalls for the guests to graze on, as well as a very special dessert.

Guests had a choice of three paella stalls, with the options being; seafood, chicken and chorizo, and grilled artichoke and fennel paella.

We also created a piceteo stall for the guests to grab little bite-sized

Pan de Coca – Catalan flatbread with tomato garlic and olive oil,

Gordal olives hand stuffed with garlic, chili and borlotti bean paste,

Jamón Ibérico which was hand-carved by our chefs at the stall,

A choice of three kinds of cheese; Manchego rolled in rosemary, wheat germ, as well as half-pasteurised and pasteurised Manchego cheeses,

and a Pump House Bakery sourdough.


For dessert, we had a Flambé Stall. Lettice used the families flambé trolley and made the guests fresh crêpe suzettes to order throughout the evening!

The guests at Concours d’Elegance were also served some late night bites. Lane Farm sausages and bacon brioche rolls were passed at midnight to help keep the guests dancing for longer.
