Lettice kicked off the year with a beautiful winter wedding for 140 guests at Studio Spaces in the heart of Wapping. Tasked with finding a venue that was reflective of the couple’s East London lifestyle, this former factory in the historic London docklands has been beautifully restored yet still retains many of its industrial features such as exposed brickwork and polished concrete floors.

A Scandinavian influenced design mixed with the stunning floristry of Tattie Rose Flowers created a winter wonderland setting for guests to eat, drink and dance the night away in. Live music played throughout the night with the fantastic ‘Love Train’ having everyone up and dancing in no time whilst an enormous mirror ball span overhead. The bride and groom departed in to the night through a tunnel of sparklers as guests enjoyed a midnight treat of hot sausage rolls from La Fromagerie and slices of wedding cake from Jolly Scrumptious.
They ate: The wedding breakfast was made up of a ‘Best of British’ Lettice menu with canapes including Hot cream of heritage tomato soup shots with basil oil croutons, Tiny country style terrine on brioche toast with cornichons and Mini Welsh rarebits with wood roasted onions. Guests enjoyed a selection of deluxe Lettice Fish and Shepherd’s Pies and a Trio of Winter desserts made up of spice poached pears, winter berry crumbles and Tangy Seville orange curd Chocolate Tarts.
They drank: Champagne, Crate Brewery Cask Ale, Dark ‘N’ Stormy cocktails, Mojitos
