Host an iconic and glamorous Valentines soiree in Sohos most luxurious restaurant, that even has a button to order champagne straight to your table. This opulent venue is perfectly adorned with gold furnishings, mosaic detail and marble tables, fit for the aristocracy of the early 1900’s.  Choose Bob Bob Ricard for a luxurious, fun and theatrical night your date won’t forget in a hurry.

Clutch – Hoxton

For a much more laid-back approach to Valentine’s day, take your date to a funky and delicious fried chicken and chips shop. Indulge in their naughty menu which is recommended highly by Ed Sheeran, this is not your average guilt-free fried food.

The river café – Hammersmith

The River Café has been going since 1987, and is an iconic landmark London eatery. Their simple but sumptuous Italian cuisine has the likes of Nigella Lawson and Kiera Knightley returning frequently.

Petrus – Knightsbridge

Enjoy an exquisite meal at the renowned Gordon Ramsey’s Michelin star restaurant, whose menu is a modern interpretation on classic flavours. Here you can expect nothing but excellence from food to service and not a kitchen nightmare.

Gymkhana – Mayfair

This classic and contemporary Michelin star Raj-era themed Indian restaurant, offers exceptional Tandoor oven roasts and seasonal curries. Choose from an array of boldly spiced Indian classic dishes and delectable cocktails infused with spices, to woo your date.

Bagatelle – Mayfair

This modern restaurant delivers a slice of France to the streets of Mayfair, it encompasses wholly everything French from the décor, menu to the live music. What’s more romantic than being besieged by the chic and sexy inquisition of the French.

La Poule Au Pot –   Belgravia

This dreamy authentic French bistro with its intimate nooks and festoons of dried flowers, candlelit tables and romantic outdoor terrace is the perfect location for an intimate supper. It has not only been voted “best for romance” in the whole of London, but their charming menu and humble wine list is perfectly paired so you can focus on impressing your date.

Frenchie- Covent garden

Frenchie’s elegant and intimate setting lends itself perfectly for an evening of exquisite food and romance. With its specific Valentine’s day 5-course tasting menu you and your date will not be going hungry.

Bourne and Hollingsworth – Fitzrovia

This creative botanical greenhouse is the perfect atmosphere to let love blossom. Surrounded by artistic décor, succulents from floor to ceiling, industrial glass, marble accents and rattan wicker chairs. There is still a very cosy vibe, with the open fires and dim lighting, which adds to the enchanting ambience.

If you are just planning to keep things low key, impress your date with a quick cocktail in one of these funky London bars:

Nightjar – Hoxton

Soak up the magical atmosphere and choose from an extensive and unconventional cocktail list that caters to everyone. Expect an electric mix of fruity flavours, creamy textures and some drier drinks, while listening to a live jazz, blues or swing band.

Disrepute – Soho

This 60’s opulent bar is hidden in the heart of Soho in the buzzing Kingly Court. The Gold detailing and turquoise velvet is an ideal setting to impress your date, along with the coded drinks menu where you can take a gamble and pick a cocktail or get a separate menu to understand what’s really in your drink. We prefer a more devil-may-care attitude to our drinks.

Hotels for a romantic get away:

Wilderness – Suffolk

Stay overnight at an English country estate with 5,000 acres of exquisite countryside. Sleep in a little private cottage which has no electricity but can only be lit by candles, fit with open fire and free-standing bath overlooking the meadows.
