The first of two bank holiday weekends are coming up and we’re getting ready for plenty of cocktail parties and fizz!
You will need (recipe for one cocktail):
- 1x cocktail shaker
- 1x cocktail strainer
- We like to serve in champagne saucers!
- 25ml Blanco Tequila
- 30ml Triple Sec
- 30ml Simple Syrup
- 60ml Fresh Lime Juice
- Prosecco for topping up – we love Solpiantez Spumante Brut Millesimato
- Rock Salt or Sea Salt
- Mint Leaves
The master plan:
Run the cut edge of a lime wedge around the rim of each glass and then dip the rim into a plate of coarse rock or sea salt.
Place the tequila, Triple Sec, simple syrup and lime juice in the shaker and top up with ice. Give it a good shake and then pour through the strainer, dividing equally between the glasses.
Top up with prosecco and add a mint leaf to garnish. Top tip: Place the mint leaf in the palm of your hand and clap your hands together once – this brings out the scent of the mint.
